Welcome to the Swedish Museum Open Collection! By contributing media to our open and public collection, you agree to abide by the following Terms of Service:
1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting your media to the Swedish Museum Open Collection, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not contribute media to the collection.
2. Ownership and Rights
You retain all rights to the media you submit, but you grant the Swedish Museum a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the media for educational and promotional purposes related to the museum.
3. Eligibility
You must be the owner of the media you submit, or you must have the necessary permissions and rights to contribute it to the open collection. By submitting media, you warrant that you have the legal right to do so.
4. Content Guidelines
Media submitted to the open collection must adhere to ethical standards and be appropriate for public viewing. The Swedish Museum reserves the right to reject or remove any content that violates these guidelines.
5. Attribution
The Swedish Museum will make reasonable efforts to provide attribution to the creator of the media when used by the museum. However, you acknowledge that the museum may not be able to provide attribution in all cases.
6. Removal of Content
The Swedish Museum reserves the right to remove any contributed media at its discretion. If you wish to have your media removed, please contact the museum.
7. Changes to Terms
The Swedish Museum may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be effective upon posting the updated terms on the museum's website. It is your responsibility to review the terms periodically.
